How to create and send a Loan Application
To create a New Loan, you need to first create a new Account or open an existing Account and add the new Loan to the Account.
Here are some points you may want to note;
- You will need to create an Account with the type of Account as Lender
- You will need to create a Contact in that Account with the Contact Type as Lender
- Any Contacts you create as Lenders will show in your list of lenders to send the loan to at the end of the tutorial

Basic Steps
Create a new Account
Search for the Account you want to create a Loan for, or create a new Account. You can view a tutorial on how to create a new Account How to create a new Account
Add new Contacts to the Account
If the Contacts you need are in your existing Account you will need to add them. Of course, if you have just created a new Account, then add your new Contacts to the account, and you can view the following link on how to add new Contacts to an Account How to add a new Contact to an Account

When adding a new Contact to an Account for a Loan, pay special attention to the following.
- Make sure you change your Layout to Comprehensive before you start adding information, as this will present you with more information specific to your clients employment and address history.
- If you are a mortgage adviser only, you can change your default Contact layout to Comprehensive so every time you create a new client it will automatically show you the Comprehensive layout.
- When in comes to income in your Contact record, put the Annual pre-tax income there. In other words, add their primary taxable income there.
Add a new Loan to the Account

- Add Notes to your Loan Application
- Add Loan Splits to your Loan Application
- Add your Loan Security/ies
- Attach all supporting files to your Loan Application.
- Create a checklist of any other outstanding items you need from your client
