How to create a new Lead and convert the Lead to a Client
What are Leads?
Leads are prospects or potential clients you have not yet written business with. When you want to add someone to your Adviser CRM account, you can create them as either a new Lead, or create a new Account and them as a Contact to the Account. Here are some differences to help you decide what is best for you.
- A Lead is an individual person so if you want to add multiple people, then you will need to create an Account and add Contacts to the Account.
- If you create a new Lead and you write business on that Lead, there is a Convert button in the Lead screen that you can click and this will covert the Lead to a new Account and add a new Contact to that Account.
- You cannot add Loans, Policies etc to a Lead, if you want to add any Loans, Policies, Investments etc, you need to create an Account, add the new Contact, then add the Loans, Policies etc.
- Leads are store in a separate Leads module
