Customising Fields and Layouts CAUTION
Adviser CRM allows you to create, edit and add new fields and layouts.
Caution! if you remove or rename any fields in your layouts, you may break automation, leave blanks in your email and letter templates and miss imported data from insurers.
- If you change or remove a field you may break automation and leave blanks in your email and letter templates.
- You cannot rename system fields, if you do not want a field in your layout, you will need to create a custom layout then remove that field from your custom layout, but the same warning applies about removing fields.
- The system fields with pick lists. you can add and remove values in a pick list.
- The system fields that give you multiple options, you can add and remove values.
- Our data import tools are mapped to specific fields and field names, so if you rename them or remove them from your layout you may not get the latest information when you import Insurer data.
If you want us to do your customisations for you, please contact our team for a proposal to do your changes for you and make sure your changes do not break anything.
Data imports from Insurers are hard coded and we cannot map data to custom fields. You may have to get the data directly from the insurer and manually import data and map your own custom fields.
